With the same speed at which Christmas seemed to come and go, Sheila Fleet Jewellery is now gearing up for what is perhaps one of our most favourite special occasions – Valentine’s.

Needless to say we have recently seen quite a few engagement rings flutter out the door; whether these pieces are destined for a romantic Valentine’s proposal…we’ll have to wait and see!

So, with four weeks to go until the 14th, we thought we’d get into the spirit of the season by exploring some of our most romantic pieces; all created to celebrate life’s great loves.

River Ripples

 River Ripples

River Ripples is a very unique ring where Sheila sought to capture the magic and sparkle of one of nature’s most powerful elements – water. As is the case with all our jewellery, each River Ripples ring is made to order; ensuring its uniqueness. River Ripples is also available with delicately enamelled sections which are created by hand using a quill – often goose feathers found in neighbouring fields which are donated to us by the local farmer. We reguarly take requests from newlyweds to adapt the enamel on this ring to match the colour scheme of their big day.

Reef Knot

 Reef Knot ring

A symbol of unity, the reef knot is a timeless binding. In this case of this ring, Sheila wanted to celebrate the simplicity of the reef knot’s beautiful shape by using gold in a mix of colours.  Hand set with a diamond, we find this ring to be particularly popular with couples celebrating a milestone in their union such as the renewal of vows, the arrival of a baby or as an eternity ring full of symbolism.

Ogham Blessing

 Ogham's blessing ring

Interpreting Ogham – an ancient celtic alphabet – Sheila has created beautiful contemporary wedding and engagement rings that read ‘a blessing on the soul’. Studded with diamonds and created using a variety of precious metals to compliment the recipient’s personal taste, the rings blend the old with the new and are a testament to the importance of love throughout time. Our rings can be made in silver, white or yellow gold, palladium or platinum.
