With just six days to go until Father’s Day, the Sheila Fleet Jewellery team have been getting their thinking caps on as to how they can say thank you to dad.

After shave sets, boxer shorts, chocolate and whisky seem to be the gifting solution touted by TV and magazine adverts; we’re not completely sold however!

Instead, this year why not celebrate Father’s Day with something a little more personal, memorable and that will last the test of time?

Here’s a few of our favourite pieces from across our collections that do just that:

Flagstone Cufflink

Flagstone Cufflink

A treat for shirt wearers, the Flagstone Cufflink is made in sterling silver with a choice of enamels to emphasise the texture of the metal. An interpretation of flagstones that have been matured by weather and time yet remain strong, this piece is a lovely gift at any time of year but could also be used to represent thanks to a special dad who’s been a supportive force in your life.

Ogham Cufflink

Ogham Cufflink

A very different looking cufflink but one with a beautiful message, the Ogham Cufflink incorporates an interpretation of the ancient Pictish alphabet. A contemporary piece, Sheila has used the alphabet to create the message ‘a blessing on the soul’.  Available in two precious metals – gold or silver – with two gemstone settings – hematite or citrine – this is a masculine piece with a secret message of love and appreciation.

Skyran Ring

Skyran Ring

Another piece that incorporates Ogham, the ancient Pictish text, is the Skyran ring which can be enamelled in a series of striking colours including skail / twilight, storm and amethyst; three enamels which focus on blues, purples and silvery greys. A thoughtful gift for men who wear rings or enjoy Celtic-inspired jewellery, this piece is full of sentiment, love and thanks to be enjoyed all year round.
